In addition to this Web site's job database, the IAEM Annual Conference often provides in-person career workshops and is an excellent place for networking.

Paid or unpaid advertising by for-profit companies is not available at this time on the IAEM Web site, including here in the Career Center. Potential advertisers are invited to view the IAEM Bulletin ad guidelines and see if a display ad in the newsletter would meet their needs. Also, suppliers of products or services of interest to IAEM members and the EM community are invited to visit the EMEX Web site, home of the annual Emergency Management & Homeland Security Expo.

Please use good judgment when responding to offers made by companies about possible employment. A couple of IAEM members who posted their resumes on this bulletin board received questionable replies that involved money or personal financial details being requested from the IAEM member. Of course a reputable employer would never ask for any money or payments from applicants, at any point in the recruitment process.
