Use good judgment when responding to offers made by companies about possible employment. A couple of IAEM members who posted their resumes on this bulletin board received questionable replies that involved money or personal financial details being requested from the IAEM member. Of course a reputable employer would never ask for any money or payments from applicants, at any point in the recruitment process.

The IAEM Jobs Board uses a separate registration system from that used for IAEM members. Your IAEM user name and password will not work on the Jobs Board. If you want editing privileges on the Jobs Board, you will need to register on the Jobs Board.

Registration will allow you access to your posted materials to edit information and to delete postings.

   The City of Amarillo is recruiting for an Asst. Emergency Management Coordinator to assist with developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of a local government emergency management program. A Bachelor's degree in emergency planning, management, public administration, homeland security, or related field is required. Completion of two years (60 semester hours) of accredited college work and at least 5 years experience in Emergency Management with emphasis in planning can be substituted.
