The Advanced Public Information OfficerCourse provides participantsthe knowledge and skillsto establish, manage andwork within a jointinformation center (JIC) through multimedialectures and individual andgroup activities. Thetraining allows participantsthe opportunity to apply advancedpublic information skillsduring a multi-day functionalexercise (FE) designed to testthe participants’ abilities to analyze, coordinate, processand create informationin a fast-paced, realistic environment. Through a tabletop exercise(TTX), participants evaluatetheir processes to helpthem generate newideas, products, or waysof viewing challengesor situations aswell as improve their processes ensuringevery action has a measurable relevance for each identified audience, including seniorleadership.
