IAEM is proud to support the Emergency Management Leaders Conference and will be offering the Certified Emergency Manager Preparatory Workshop, Examination and other sessions as part of the event.
The National Emergency Management Leaders Conference unites leaders from public sector emergency management and private sector disaster preparation, response, recovery and mitigation. The event features discussions addressing recent events, current issues and best practices, and it applies forward thinking relative to current policy and future events. The field of emergency management includes organizations that serve industry professionals on multiple levels and across multiple disciplines.
EMLC is presented to the industry by the leading associations serving emergency management: IAEM, Perfect World, Inc., and the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA). EMLC includes two keynote addresses and eight plenary sessions. Pre- and post-conference special sessions and workshops will include IAEM's AEM/CEM Preparatory Course and AEM/CEM Exam. on June 14, 2018. See prep course and exam listing below. The EMLC Executive Advisory Committee includes: Teri Smith, CEM, IAEM-USA Second Vice President; Carolyn Harshman, CEM, IAEM-USA Region 9 President; and Clay Tyeryar, MAM, CAE, IAEM Deputy Executive Director and EMEX Exhibit Director, plus several additional IAEM members.
The EMLC will include a Jobs Fair and Job Boards uniting students with potential employment opportunities. There will be numerous breaks and events to promote public-private sector communication and networking, and frequent Jobs Fair and Jobs Board events including daily breakfast, lunch, break stations, dinners and executive receptions. Limited sponsorship opportunities are available. Participants will be able to take place in networking and discussion pods, as well as workshops for topic review and discussion with private sector services.

The 2018 National Conference on Earthquake Engineering (11NCEE), hosted by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, is in its 11th year.
