Leadership Symposium
This year marks the first offering of an entire breakout track dedicated to advanced concepts in leadership. The Leadership Symposium Committee has developed a "Participant Application" by which we will create a collective of existing and emergency leaders that directly contribute to the field of emergency management. The Application solicits not only participants for involvement in the Symposium, but also the concepts and issues participants would like to discuss. This participant-driven event will be enhanced with qualified and pertinent speakers who will enlighten the audience on our theme of "Leading Emergency Management into the Future."— Carolyn J. NOTICE: The Conference Staff schedule is currently full. Please check onsite for any available opportunities to work as Conference Staff.
In 2010, IAEM changed the Volunteer Program to Conference Staff. IAEM utilizes Conference Staff at its Annual Conference for two main reasons. First, the work of Conference Staff is a critical element in delivering successful conferences. Secondly, IAEM uses Conference Staff as a mechanism to assist people in attending the conference and as an opportunity to further engage student members of IAEM. If you are interested in serving as Conference Staff, please download and read complete information here:
