- Kansas Museum of History is offering "Forces of Nature" in its Special Exhibits Gallery now through Jan. 4, 2009. Tornadoes, droughts, prairie fires, floods - Kansas gets them all! This exhibit explores natural disasters caused by wind, earth, water and fire. It includes interactive elements, such as a storm shelter and other games and features, as well as many rare objects. Museum is located about an hour's drive from the conference site. Admission: $5 adults, $3 students with ID. Hours:
