The IAEM-USA Mid-Year Meeting is for IAEM members, emergency management professionals, Congressional staffers and federal officials with a role in homeland security and emergency management. Sessions will include briefings from top DHS officials. The IAEM Mid-Year Meeting purpose is to advance IAEM committee work.
- Register by May 13, 2011: Since IAEM headquarters must provide EMI with a list of meeting participants, we will not be able to accommodate any last minute registrants after the May 13th registration deadline.
- Housing on June 9 Limited to Attendees at FEMA Higher Education Conference: Note that because the FEMA Higher Education Conference occurs June 6-9 (immediately preceding our meeting), housing for Thursday, June 9 will ONLY be available if you attend the FEMA conference. You are encouraged to participate. Please see http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/edu/educonference11.asp for meeting/registration details. If you plan on attending the FEMA Higher Education Conference, you will need to complete the online EMI registration form to secure your participation.
- Housing at EMI June 10-12: Unfortunately, IAEM can only secure up to 80 sleeping rooms on EMI’s campus beginning Friday, June 10, with departures no later than Sunday, June 12. If you will not be participating in the FEMA Higher Education Conference, you will need to find off-site housing for nights prior to Friday, June 10.
