Who Should Attend
The IAEM-USA Mid-Year Meeting is for IAEM members, emergency management professionals, Congressional staffers and federal officials with a role in homeland security and emergency management. Sessions will include briefings from top DHS officials. The IAEM Mid-Year Meeting purpose is to advance IAEM committee work.
Date/Location
The IAEM-USA 2009 Mid-Year Meeting will be held June 5-6, 2009, at the Emergency Management Institute, Emmitsburg, Maryland.
Important Notice Regarding EMI Campus Security Requirements
Housing on EMI's campus is available beginning Thursday, June 4, 2009, and ending Sunday, June 7, 2009. In order to gain access to EMI’s campus, all participants must bring valid photo identification for security clearance. Housing is only available to those who are registered to also attend the IAEM-USA Mid-Year Meeting. Participants will be required to provide at the time of their registration the following details in order to gain access to EMI's campus: name, title, company, address, city, state, zip, phone, email, whether housing is needed, campus arrival date, campus departure date, and the last four (4) digits of their Social Security Number. International Participants will also need to provide: their date ate of Birth, place of birth, country of birth, passport number, passport expiration date, country of issue for passport.
