In 2008, the CEM® Commission is scheduled to meet:

March 26-27, 2008 at IAEM Headquarters in Falls Church, VA (credential review and policy discussion). Please submit packages to be reviewed by March 14, 2008. All notification letters regarding the status of candidate review will be sent within three weeks of the meeting – estimate no later than April 14, 2008.
- June 2-7, 2008 in Emmitsburg, MD (credential review and policy discussion). Please submit packages to be reviewed by May 23, 2008. Note: The FEMA Emergency Management Higher Education Conference is scheduled for June 2-5, 2008, and all CEM® Commissioners should plan on participating. The actual review of credentials packages by the CEM® Commission will take place June 5-7 (concurrent with the IAEM Mid-Year Meeting). All notification letters regarding the status of candidate review will be sent within three weeks of the meeting – estimate no later than June 24, 2008.
- September 2008 (credential review and policy discussion). Date and location to be determined.
