A call for nominations is issued for the 2011 IAEM Oceania Council Officers Election. Nominations are being accepted for these officer positions:
- IAEM Oceania Vice President: two-year term commencing 1 January 2012.
- IAEM Oceania Treasurer: two-year commencing 1 January 2012.
Qualifications: Candidates for Vice President and Treasurer must be current IAEM Individual, Affiliate or Lifetime members who have held IAEM membership for two years or more. Current Student members are ineligible; however, previous membership years may have been as a Student member.
The following information must be emailed to Karen Thompson at Thompson@iaem.com in order to run for office. Nominations will open 14 July 2012 at 00:01 AEST and close 27 July 2011 at 23:59 AEST.
- Candidate’s full name
- Name of position (Vice President or Treasurer)
- The names of two current IAEM Oceania Council members who support candidate’s nomination
- Headshot photo (as separate image file attachment, such as JPG or GIF)
- A little about candidate (limit 500 words)
- Why candidate would be good in this role (limit 500 words)
- What candidate hopes to achieve in this role (limit 500 words)
- Nominations will be accepted from 14 July 2012 at 00:01 AEST until 27 July 2011 at 23:59 AEST.
- The online officers election will open 1 August 2011 at 00:01 AEST.
- The election will close on 7 August 2011 at 23:59 AEST.
- The election outcome will be announced on 15 August 2011 in conjunction with the release of the AGM agenda.
