iaem-usa region 1 officers election

IAEM-USA Region 1 members are invited to vote on regional officers. IAEM-USA Region 1 includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

The Region 1 officers selected in this election will serve for a period of two years.

• The new Region 1 President will be the candidate who receives the most votes in this election. The new Region 1 President will take office at the first meeting of the new IAEM-USA Board of Directors at the IAEM-USA 2011 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
• The new Region 1 Vice President will be the candidate who receives the second largest number of votes in this election.
• The Region 1 Secretary/Treasurer will be the candidate who receives the third largest number of votes in this election.

When you proceed to the online ballot, you will find an opportunity to vote for ONE (1) of three (3) candidates for IAEM-USA Region 1 President.

Start Date:

Online voting will begin on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time. On that date, the RED link to the right that says "VOTE NOW" will be activated, and eligible voters will be able to place their votes using the online ballot.

End Date:

Online voting will end on Friday, August 5, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.

How Voting Works:

Online voting is secure and private. You can vote online by clicking on the RED link to the right on this page called "VOTE NOW." The RED "VOTE NOW" link will be activated on July 25, 2011.

• When you click on this link, you will be asked for your IAEM User ID and Password.
• Enter that information, and you will be taken to the the Member Surveys page.
• Click on the survey called "2011 IAEM-USA Region 1 Officers Election." This is your online ballot.
• You will then be able to vote for ONE (1) of three (3) candidates for the office of IAEM Region 1 President.
• When you have voted, click the "Post Survey Choices" button to cast your vote. (Once you click this button, you can't go back and you can't make changes - so be sure that your ballot is as you want it BEFORE you click the button.)

You can only vote once. You cannot change your vote once it is placed. If you have any difficulties in placing your vote, contact IAEM Membership Director Sharon Kelly at info@iaem.com.

Voter Eligibility:

You must be a current IAEM Region 1 Individual, Affiliate, or Lifetime Member to vote in this election. (Note: IAEM-USA Student Members residing in Region 1 do not vote in this election, but rather vote in officer elections for the IAEM-USA Student Region.) If you know about this election but have not paid your dues for the current membership year, you can join or renew your membership online, but dues must be paid no later than noon Eastern time, Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, in order to establish your voter eligibility.

If you do not have an e-mail address on file with IAEM and therefore have not received a User ID and Password to access the Members Only area, contact IAEM Membership Director Sharon Kelly at info@iaem.com, or 703-538-1795, ext. 2, and place an e-mail address on file with IAEM so that you can be assigned a User ID and Password.
