I would appreciate the opportunity to serve as the President of Region VI in attempt to increase awareness of issues within the Region as well as being a voice for the concerns of our communities. I have served within this region as a Regional Emergency Manager for Navy Region South (Corpus Christi, TX) and am currently an Emergency Management consultant. I have supported TEEX as an observer/controller for numerous State WMD exercises as well as SNS certification exercises. I have a Masters Degree in Emergency & Disaster Management, am a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). I served 24 years in the US Navy working in Search & Rescue and Preventive Medicine. I also served as the IAEM Sergeant at Arms for Mr. Russ Decker.
