VOTE in the 2009
special election
for iaem-usa region 3 secretary/treasurer
All IAEM-USA Region 3 members are invited to vote in the special election for IAEM-USA Region 3 Secretary/Treasurer. IAEM-USA Region 3 includes Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
Terms of Office:
The IAEM-USA Region 3 Secretary/Treasurer selected in this special election will serve for a period of one year. When you proceed to the online ballot, you will find an opportunity to vote for candidates for IAEM-USA Region 3 Secretary/Treasurer.

Start Date:
Online voting will begin on Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time. On that date, the red link to the right that says "VOTE NOW" will be activated, and eligible voters will be able to place their votes using the online ballot.
End Date:
Online voting will end on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
How Voting Works: Online voting is secure and private. You can vote online by clicking on the RED link to the right on this page called "VOTE NOW." The RED "VOTE NOW" link will be activated on Jan. 12, 2009.
- When you click on this link, you will be asked for your IAEM User ID and Password.
- Enter that information, and you will be taken to the the Member Surveys page.
- Click on the survey called "2009 IAEM-USA Region 3 Secretary-Treasurer ." This is your online ballot.
- You will then be able to vote for candidates for the office of IAEM-USA Region 3 Secretary.
- When you have voted, click the "Post Survey Choices" button to cast your vote. (Once you click this button, you can't go back and you can't make changes - so be sure that your ballot is as you want it BEFORE you click the button.)
- Note: When you click the "Post Survey Choices" button, you may receive a message that says you have not completed the ballot in total. This is an erroneous message, and our programmers are working to delete it. Just click the "Post Survey Choices" button again.
You can only vote once. You cannot change your vote once it is placed. If you have any difficulties in placing your vote, contact IAEM Membership Director Sharon Kelly at info@iaem.com.
Voter Eligibility: You must be an IAEM-USA Region 3 member (Individual, Affiliate or Lifetime), and you must have paid dues for Oct. 1, 2008 through Sept. 30, 2009, in order to be eligible to vote in this election. If you know about this election but have not paid your dues for the current membership year, you can join or renew your membership online, but dues must be paid no later than noon Eastern time, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, in order to establish your voter eligibility.
IAEM User ID and Password : If you do not have an e-mail address on file with IAEM and therefore have not received a User ID and Password to access the Members Only area, contact IAEM Membership Director Sharon Kelly at info@iaem.com, or 703-538-1795, ext. 2, and place an e-mail address on file with IAEM so that you can be assigned a User ID and Password.
