U.S. Senate Preparedness Fair features speakers from Sergeant-at-Arms, DHHS, IAEM and Senate staffers. Regional offices of Emergency Management and Homeland Security staffed information booths at the September 10th Fair.
 
IAEM Region 3 President Kathleen Henning, CEM, represented IAEM at a Private Sector Briefing as part of the National Response Framework rollout held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC. The briefing was conducted by Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, FEMA Deputy Administrator & National Preparedness Director Dennis Schrader, Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector Al Martinez-Fonts, and Acting Director Al Fluman of the Incident Management Systems Division of FEMA. The audience included several business CEOs from the private sector, national level private sector associations, the National Citizen Corps Council, and corporate partners representing each of the identified critical infrastructure sectors.
