IAEM-USA 2012 uniformed services AWARDS competition

The IAEM-USA Awards & Recognition Committee, in partnership with the IAEM-USA Uniformed Services Caucus, announces that nominations are now being accepted for the 2012 IAEM-USA Uniformed Services Awards. Nominations are open to members of the U.S. Armed Services, including U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps.
The IAEM-USA Uniformed Services Awards recognize individuals serving in the Uniformed Services of the United States who have consistently demonstrated significant contributions to the field of emergency management while continuously self-developing as emergency managers. Two awards are offered:
- IAEM-USA Uniformed Services: Uniformed Member of the Year Award. Uniformed members may be Active Duty, Guard, Reservists or Auxiliary members.
- IAEM-USA Uniformed Services: Civilian Emergency Manager of the Year Award. Civilians may include civil service or service contractors.
The winners of the IAEM-USA 2012 Uniformed Services Awards will be announced by the IAEM-USA Awards & Recognition Committee. The awards will be presented at the IAEM-USA 2012 Annual Conference, Oct. 26-Nov. 1, 2012, Orlando, Florida.
