Guidelines for the 2012 IAEM-USA Career Excellence and Academic Awards Competition
There are two award categories in this IAEM-USA competition:
- The Career Excellence Award recognizes a national leader who has made significant contributions throughout his/her career to promote and improve the emergency management profession in the USA.
- The Academic Recognition Award recognizes a U.S. academic leader or institution that has made a significant contribution to the formal education of students pursuing a career in emergency management or through research and development of paradigms or standards that have helped shape the broader field of emergency and disaster management.
Please Note: This separate IAEM-USA competition for the Career Excellence and Academic Recognition Awards is for U.S. entries only. These awards are NOT self-nominating.
On June 7, 2012, a call for entries was
announced for the 2012 IAEM-Global Awards
Competition, which includes four award categories: Business & Preparedness
Award; Partners in Preparedness Award; Public Awareness Award; and Technology
