IAEM-Europa principles of emergency management application award competition

ENTRY DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 29, 2011, 5:00 PM U.S. EASTERN TIME

Call for Entries: 2011 IAEM-Europa Principles of Emergency Management Application Award Competition (20 May 2011) IAEM-Europa is now accepting entries in the 2011 IAEM-Europa Principles of Emergency Management Application Award Competition.

Guidelines:

Entries are open to any project that can demonstrate the comprehensive application of the Principles of Emergency Management in its delivery.
Applicants should demonstrate how the eight (8) principles were applied to the project and the outcome of that application.
All entrants must compete and submit the official awards entry form for this award. Download the form here.
Email the official entry form and supporting documents to Karen Thompson at thompson@iaem.com.
The entry deadline is Tuesday, June 21, 2011, 5:00 p.m., U.S. Eastern Time. The entry deadline has been extended to Wednesday, June 29, 2011, 5:00 p.m., U.S. Eastern time.
Entries will be judged by the IAEM-Europa Council Awards Committee, and decisions by the judges are final.

And...Don't Forget the 2011 IAEM-Global Awards Competition

On May 5, 2011, a separate call for entries was announced for the 2011 IAEM-Global Awards Competition, which includes four award categories: Business & Preparedness Award; Partners in Preparedness Award; Public Awareness Award; and Technology & Innovation Awards. Just as last year, entrants compete at the Council level first, with winners moving on to the Global level. Details are posted at www.iaem.com/Awards.

Please Note: This separate IAEM-Europa competition for the Principles of Emergency Management Application Award is for Europa entries only.

Awards Announcement and Presentation

The winner of the IAEM-Europa 2011 Principles of Emergency Management Application Award will be announced by the IAEM-Europa Awards Committee. The award will be presented at the IAEM-Global 2011 Annual Conference (EMEC Europa 2011) in Munich, Germany.
