Report:

The Region 4 Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC, April 15-20, 2012 was a huge success. There were 120 attendees and 21 vendors on site to relish the breath taking view of Myrtle Beach. The Region 4 Conference Committee worked hard to establish national speakers and subject matter experts to present their views to an eager audience.

On Monday, pre-conference training which consisted of the IAP workshop and on Tuesday was the first day of the Conference. Horry County Honor Guard presented the colors and IAEM USA President and Global Chair, Hui-Shan Walker gave opening remarks. FEMA Region 4 Administrator Phil May and staff gave information on current issues and there were other great topics from speakers throughout the Conference.

Many special thanks to the Region 4 Conference Committee for serving and to the IAEM Headquarters staff for their great support.
