As part of its Strategic Foresight Initiative, FEMA will (1) facilitate a Scoping Workshop to provide initial definition of the drivers and issues facing emergency management over the next 15-20 years; (2) create and maintain a space for collaboration and dialog on these issues; and (3) conduct a Future Strategic Needs Conference to arrive at an initial set of strategic imperatives to guide long-range planning across the spectrum of emergency management entities.
