IAEM-LIST Rules and Guidelines
Subscribed members may control settings individually from the ‘My Account’ tab after logging in at: http://lists.iaem.com/read/login/?forum=iaem-list
Messages options:
- mail – receive message as they are contributed
- nomail – receive no mail from this mailing list
- index – one daily message with only the subject lines for that day
- mimedigest – one daily message with all the contributions for that day in MIME format (Most recipients will see each posting as an individual attachment.)
- digest – one daily message with all the contributions for that day. (Appropriate for list members using email clients that cannot show the attachments in mimedigest)
Anyone may go to the web to view all postings from the last 90 days at http://lists.iaem.com/read/?forum=iaem-list
The list is set to block attachments. Unfortunately many email client programs encode normal messages to look as if they contain a disallowed attachment. This is a known issue with Outlook Web Access. If you have trouble posting messages through your email client, you may always post from the web by logging in, then clicking the ‘create new message’ button on the top right of the ‘Messages’ tab.
Messages are restricted to 200K. If you have a larger message, post the message on the web and include a link in your posting. If you do not have web space included with your internet service provider, you may find a free one at http://www.100best-free-web-space.com/ or http://www.freewebspace.net/. This way, list members’ mailboxes do not get clogged and anyone who wishes to read the additional information may do so.
The reply-to address of the list is not the list itself, but the message’s author. Therefore ‘Out of Office’ messages, other automated replies and some bouncebacks will go to the author of each posting. It is suggested that you create rules in your email client to handle these messages so that they do not clutter your inbox. As an example, you could filter messages that contain “out-of-office” in the subject.
By remaining as a member of the list, you agree to conform to the IAEM email discussion group guidelines at: http://iaem.com/listserve/listagreement.htm
You may unsubscribe by sending an email to the address at the bottom of each posting received, or you may do so by logging in and clicking the unsubscribe button on the right of the ‘My Forums’ tab.
Questions and Problems with the list should be addressed to listsupport@iaem.com
