IAEM Public Email Discussion Groups are available in these languages:
Chinese | English | French | German | Italian | Slovak | Spanish
The International Association of Emergency Managers Email Discussion Groups are designed to provide a public forum for emergency managers to exchange ideas, thoughts, problems and solutions that relate to the emergency management profession. At the present time, the IAEM Email Discussion Groups are not limited to IAEM members. The IAEM Email Discussion Groups should be used solely to share ideas and information related to emergency management. They are not general discussion lists.
Please read the IAEM E-mail Discussion Group Guidelines prior to registering for any IAEM list. The same guidelines apply to all e-mail discussion lists offered through IAEM. If you have any questions, comments, or complaints about the list, or if If you disagree with the relevance/usefulness of posted information, don't send a complaint to the entire list. Instead, please e-mail the list moderator(s) and copy in IAEM Communications & Marketing Manager at shiley@iaem.com.

To subscribe to a list, you will have to send an email to lyris@lists.iaem.com with the subject of the email containing subscribe list name iaem2009. Where list name is the name of the list, iaem2009 is the password to join the list. When you send an email, you will get an email back asking to confirm you email address. Simply reply to the email in order to be added as a member.
The same goes for when you want to unsubscribe from a list. The format is unsubscribe list name iaem2009 in the subject line. When you send an email, you will get an email back asking to confirm that you wish to unsubscribe from the list. When you reply with the text ok some random number generated by lyris in the subject line, you will be removed from the list.
