On March 21, IAEM President Justin Kates joined BCEM President Mark Sloan and NEMA President Russ Strickland on Capitol Hill for a briefing on emergency management legislative priorities. Hosted by the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee, the briefing provided an opportunity for the Big Three to advocate our shared agenda directly to Capitol Hill staff.

IAEM Middle East President, H.E. Khaled Al Monsoori, and IAEM Global Chair Robie Robinson met with officials at the Risk, Emergency and Business Continuity Management Conference, December 11-12, 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to discuss collaboration, education and training opportunities, and to grow IAEM in the Middle East.

Beth Armstrong and Dawn Shiley were joined at IAEM HQ on Oct. 23 by DEI Consulting team Farzana Nayani, Alma Ramos and Natasha Bradley for the USA Board read-out of the audit. Findings were presented at the Annual Conference in Long Beach.
